How to write a teleprompter script

A good teleprompter script is not just a beautiful text on paper. It is a text that is easy to speak.

Use short sentences

Long sentences confuse breathing and make the reading sound artificial. Break ideas into smaller blocks.

Mark pauses

Use blank lines, slashes or simple notes to remember where to breathe, smile or change tone.

Cut words you would not say

If an expression does not fit your real speech, replace it. Natural delivery matters more than formality.
